Novell To Launch Open Enterprise Server CNE
Novell recently announced a new track of Open Enterprise Server certifications for its Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) designation.
To become a NetWare CNE on Novell Open Enterprise Server, candidates will be required to pass three new exams (formal names have not yet been released). There is also a "technical skills assessment" listed for the exam, but it's not clear if it is required.
Novell will also release a one-exam upgrade path for current NetWare 6 CNEs.
The exams are currently scheduled to be released in "summer" 2007, according to the company's Web site.
At press time, there was nothing on Novell's site indicating if the new track will be added for its Certified Novell Associate or Master CNE titles.
